Best Audiophile headphones under 300?

I want no hype headphones like Beats,Bose,ATH-M50(have it love it but i think theres better), and Skullcandy(little plastic toys) etc.

It would be nice if it would looke like the design of the M50
Not like Ath-w1000 and have full earcups,

Also I don't listen to rap
 
Take a look at Sennheiser HD 598. It is under $300

Very positive review from people and I prefer Sennheiser to Bose and others. Oh and You can get used one for around 170 dollars.
