Does a T-mobile Sim card work with a Nokia Lumia 900?

I'm kind of new to this, and not sure how the whole switching to another phone works. I have a sim card that has the T-mobile logo on it, so i'm assuming it belongs to the t-mobile mobile carrier. Whereas, the Nokia Lumia has the At&T logo... does it make any difference? Or can I only buy a phone that is T-mobile? I don't want to switch my mobile carrier. Thanks!

the Lumia 900 has to be unlocked, which can be done with AT&T over a phone call for free, or go to a AT&T store and they'll do it for you. Or you can do it yourself if you wanna take the time.

You need to unlock the Nokia Lumia from AT&T network. Once unlocked you can swap with your T-Mobile network without any problem. To unlock, I suggest you can approach Unlock-zone.com and specify the country,locked network of Nokia Lumia .Based on the availability you can get the permanent unlock service along with free instructions.
