iPhone 5 data Verizon not moving?

I have a iPhone 5 for Verizon. Recently, it said I used 2.181 of data. So I used it throughout the day, and of course I have a data plan. So I decided to check it again, and it was still 2.181. No matter how much I use it it stays at 2.181. Why?
 
Are you still within that month? Has it updated yet? Does this data usage come from the my Verizon app or from the usage section on the iPhone under settings? If you are using wifi it doesn't count towards cellular data usage which is over verizon's lte/CDMA network.
