Bakabt anime torrent site so confusing?

I was gonna make an account so I could search for specific anime's and such to download but their faq's and rules are so confusing. What is this ratio and seeding/uploading thing they have? I get they are trying to promote seeding but something about seeding to quickly or downloading too quickly ruins your ratio which can lead to warnings and bans? Huh?...

Cool cool. It seems like a hassle but I was reading through some of the forums and downloading "non-popular" anime's tend to put you in the hole in regards to the ratio system and I use piratebay and kat.ph along with nyaa but I noticed how Bakabt always has seeders even on un popluar/older animes while nyaa and kat, etc. tend to not, but i'll definitely check out the site with direct downloads.

Basically if you don't seed whatever you download for at least as long as it took to download your ratio will go down. You will be warned at first, but if it continues to drop then your account will be frozen and you will not be allowed to download torrents from the site. In all honestly BakaBT has way too much BS to put up with. There are plenty of other torrent and anime sites that allow you to download without worrying about this. My favorites are animetake.com (torrents and direct downloads) and nyaa.eu (just torrents). More popular series can be found on non-anime websites too like thepiratebay.org or kat.ph.
