I've had my Galaxy SIII for about 5 and a half months, and my only complaint about it is that it lags in some areas and lags in games. I feel like it shouldn't do this since I have no background apps running and the processor is a dual core 1.5 GHz. If I returned it would I be able to get a different phone in exchange? I'm considering the iPhone 5. I don't mind sacrificing customization for smooth performance. Could I do that and also can they tell if I've rooted my Galaxy SIII if I'm 100% restored to stock? Factory image, no root, locked bootloader, factory reset?

Thanks and if I were to sell it and buy the iPhone 5 I'd have to re-activate the 2 year contract right? Or else it costs $650 or can I just buy it for $200 without it affecting the contract?
