...SERVICE HISTORY AND WHAT POSSIBLE? The car is likely to be between 9-14 years old. What are the most likely faults and should I only consider one with a FULL service history ?
 
You're talking about a very old car, you should check everything about it and accept it's going to need work regardless of what make it is. Anything can be wrong with a car that age.

Things to look for: Rust, more Rust, and even more rust. Think dodgy electrics as well. It's not the service history but a 100% ironclad whatever happens warranty you will need
