How to upgrade my PSP software?

Hey guys, my PSP2000 software is 5.50 GEN-D3 and i wanna upgrade my psp software to a better one where you can play a lot more games with it.

But i don't know how to upgrade it (converting stuff) and i have not been keeping in touch with this stuff so what is the best software nowadays?

And do you guys know the way of converting it? Sorry for so many questions and i really appreciate your help!

Anyway the firmware that you are using it's pretty stable so i would not recommeded updating it
But the best CFW nowaday is PRO firmware and im using it on my 3000
