Which English club once had barbed wire round their stadium to stop people climbing out
A good answer Tatty and good reasoning but I would say that would be to stop people getting in. The reason for the one i'm talking about is to sop people getting out.
None of them - no
Do you want a clue?
OK i'll tell you.
The County ground Swindon Town was used to hold prisoners of war during the second world war.

Goodison Park- Home of Everton FC

Elland Road ?

Sheffied Wednesday ?

York City?

Luton Town ?

Everton is wrong, that was to stop fans climbing on the church roof to watch games.

I'd go for Fratton Park (Portsmouth) or Blundell Park (Grimsby), both had barbed wire round the stadiums, but since your a bit of Pompey boy, i'll go with Fratton.

Fluxys guessed my next guess The Old Den Millwall.

Stamford Bridge Chelsea, thats me, I canny think of any more it could be. Oh maybe the Baseball Ground Derby Countys old groun

Aye goan then, we could be here all night at this rate.

Ah a trick question ya bastard!
