How much are data plans on Verizon?

So my phone contract ended and my mom is looking into getting our new phones. She knows I want the iPhone and because the iPhone 4 is free with our upgrade she's considering it. But I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to pay for the data. My mom and I are on a family share plan. And the people at Verizon told my mom that they got rid of the family share plan but since we have it already and have had it for the last 4 years we can keep it. But how much would the data cost? I'm just wondering so I can start saving up. Thanks .!

If you're grandfathered without the shared data plan, the cheapest you're looking at is $30 for 2GB. I don't know how much it is beyond that but I think it's something like $50 for 4GB and so on.

They start from around 80 dollars a month. I decided to skip verizon for that reason
