I live in the most policed state in the country (nj) and here I have to go to the state police station and apply. I just one one to keep in my house for protection. I just don't want cops to harrass me and know I have a gun. Will that happen

Dont be stupid, dont buy a gun. No the police wont harrass you more, there are lots of stupid people who have guns in 'murica
