Unlocking the iPhone 4 , OS 5.1.1?

I want to buy an iPhone 4, i found a relatively cheap one , a jailbreak was done, its os is 5.1.1 , but its locked to a Swedish carrier Tele2. I read somewhere that i could unlock it with a Gevey card, is it possible ?
Btw i would buy a sim-free one but it is more expensive.
