Help, my DVD player won't work?

Its a CyberHome, my mom got it for me used but it worked when she bought it. I put a brand new dvd in and it sounds squeaky. It says loading then DVD but nothing else. At first it started but kinda got stuck i guess. I've gotten other movies to work in it and i have a feeling that it will work later, since other ones did. But we've been out of TV for a couple weeks and my daughter wants to watch this new movie before bed. The player isn't not dirty, got it cleaned by canned air at radio schack. Can anyone help FAST?!
