The last we heard from Maria Sharapova, she was planning to marry Sasha Vujavic — a former NBA player. However, there was some great news revealed today. Maria Sharapova is single! She said she has broken up with Sasha Vujacic (although she says they remain friends — sorry, Sasha).

Maria Sharapova is originally from Russia. She’s currently ranked third in the world in women’s tennis. Even though she’s from Russia, she’s been living in the USA for nearly 20 years now.

In addition to being really good at tennis, the 25-year-old is really sexy. Let’s just say she won’t be single long.
