Does Bell Canada do home internet inspections?

We got a phone call earlier saying that they wanted to see if our internet was working, and we were given a number to call if we needed it and told that it was all bell certified, the person would have an ID and a uniform and whatnot. I'm still extremely suspicious of this as they've never done it for us before, though my mother seems to think there's no problem. She told them the earliest we could do it was sometime in April, no date set to my knowledge.

I'm also concerned because the main PC is in my bedroom, along with my Adobe Creative Suite and PC games among other things. I'd rather not have someone go in there and I especially don't want to catch anyone lifting my stuff.
