w/ allergies? We have MCS in our family, so cannot use chemicals, & this dog is very prone to demodectic mange & tick bites in warm-hot weather. She also reacts with a great deal of scratching right after eating food that is high in grain. Holistic vet 'Becker' says grain isn't for dogs, but neither is dry kibble without grain. I found one of the latter that she has done well on for a month, but am worried about her long-term on this diet, as it IS high protein, & she is a laid-back pooch! So . . . I am interested in your experienced & educated suggestions about what I can do about it. Was thinking of keeping her on this dog-food, & while cutting back on its servings, add some vegetables (like broccoli---what else would you especially recommend).
