Our video will be live action, and we've done almost half of the shooting and we'll be doing the effects in Adobe After Effects, but we've run into some problems that we'd like you to help in.
It's gonna be with only two characters, Nikolai with two extra pinches of crazy, and an Miami-Italian gangster wearing all white and medium frizzy hair, sunglasses, scorpion logo, bling and sunglasses.
First of all, the zombies, acting is hard, acting an action-comedy is harder, people sweat, and to get the proper CoD zombie look we painted them face to nipple and fingers to elbow in black, to make them look extra scary. However, sweating ruins the colours and our actors say it causes discomfort and is hard to get off, so we're looking for a nice alternative.
We thought of making their skin look normal but leave the tattered clothes and dirt, and just add a couple black marks and blood, a bit of black around the eyes and in select places, problem is, they're white, would you go with the flow and think they're similar to Nazi Zombies or would they be too unsimilar?
Second of all, Nikolai's cap, what could work? We used an old rag but it was too thin, and i don't think it would work, Any ideas on this one?
Third of all, the voices don't sound so clear, the picture is crystal, but the sound isn't, we thought of recording the voices later and trying to perfect them, but that would be hard and an alternative would be better. Having a mic just outside of the camera lense is out of the question since we don't have a hollywood set =).
