can you use another SIM into a bell phone?

here's the deal, i have a friend who doesnt use bell anymore, and her phone takes a SIM card,
i was wondering if i put a new SIM card into her phone if it would work.
i know with rogers you can, but i am not sure about bell ...
please do not tell me any answers from assuming, i need to know if this worked for anyone else or not before i buy it .
 
What is the mobile model?If your friend's mobile is locked with a particular network then you need to unlock it if you are about to use a different network with the mobile.If not,it would not accept other networks..it would support to only the network to which it is locked with.To unlock you can approach Unlocking4free.com or Simpleunlocking.com and remove the network lcok permanently.You need to specify the mobile make,model,country,locked network and based on the availability get the unlock service along with free instructions.
