    What are the odds of getting oral cancer from chewing tobacco?0?

    I know snuff is not good for you but It seems mouth cancer is still rare even when chewing.

    Ant thoughts on this?

    There is no safe form of tobacco.

    At least 28 chemicals in smokeless tobacco have been found to cause cancer . The most harmful chemicals in smokeless tobacco are tobacco-specific nitrosamines, which are formed during the growing, curing, fermenting, and aging of tobacco.

    The chances are much higher with chewing it than smoking it actually. I went to high school with a kid who developed cancer after only a few months. Also facial cancer is much more devastating than other forms of cancer.
