What will play DS games?

I’m new to video games and was wondering if the DS lite, DSi, and 3DS will all play DS games? I’m confused as to what the differences between them are.

yes they all play DS games so you dont have to worry about which version of the DS you get, the only difference between all the different DS' is that each one has more and better features.

this is LEFT to RIGHT from WORST DS to BEST DS in terms of time line and most features:

DS ORIGINAL --> DS LITE --> DSi --> 3DS

But to make sure you want to pay for what features your actually going to use, you should do some research on some gaming sites like ebgames.com

All DS games can work on the DS' but the DSi can't hold as many games as the other DS' because of the camera inside it.
