Is it better to buy a cell phone and find service provider or get a...

...three-year-contract phone? I am living in Canada.
I am currently using three-year-contract phone from Rogers.
In the long term is it better to buy a phone from somewhere, for example eBay, and use Rogers without long-term contract?

no because if u move for instentece in 2 years n ur not cover ova u m ight wnt to change ur company. it's better to stay in a 1 or 2 year contract
