Can You Open A Sparsebundle Disk Image With An iOS Device?

I was wondering if it is be possible to open an encrypted, password protected Sparsebundle disk image that I have saved on my NAS media drive from an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and even more so if you can explain why you can't (if indeed you can't).
