How to set proxy for apps like opera and fring in iphone 3gs?

I have jailbroken iPhone 3gs with ios4. My office proxy works fine for most of the apps (like safari, facebook, maps etc..).
But some apps ( like opera mini, native mail client, fring and many) just flash me the error " No network connection "
Is there anyway to make them work in proxy?
Any simple tweaks?
