How delete iphone contacts permanently?

Everytime I delete some contacts from my iphone, the next time I plug my phone into itunes they all get reloaded back on to the phone, even if I delete the information from the computer folder as well

How do I delete contacts from my iphone and make sure they remain deleted or that the contact is also removed from my computer.
