i just got a ps3 40 gb on the weekend. i hav nhl 08, vurtua fighter 5, cod4, and the show 08. i went 2 see how much memory i got left and i had 28 left out or 40! do the games take up this much room or is it because the menus and stuff before u save anything?

The PS3 Has So Many Features That They Take All The Internet, Music, etc. and that takes away some or i think u can upgrade it if u want?

the only prob i see is that you bought a ps3. just about everything made by sony is a p.o.s.

I don't have the correct number, but most of that "used" you see, is all original software and OS pre loaded on the PS3.

The PS3 has an operating system and other programs, much like a computer does when you buy it to the "used memory" has to include all of those things as well as the games you play and save on it.
