I have an E63 which is a Symbian s60v3 device, equipped with a 4GB microSD card. It was preformatted as FAT32 and the transfer speed to the card is really slow (about 500KB/s) which really irritates me. I know that NTFS is much faster, but can a Symbian device (or in particular my E63) recognize a NTFS card?

So, What do you want to know..?
1. Want to convert your Memory card's file format to NTFS..?
To do that Just open Command Prompt and type: Convert ?:/fs:NTFS /x , Where ? = Drive-Latter of your MMC.
You'll be asked for current volume label of your drive, type your drives volume label, if its not set yet, hit enter without typing anything...
And your MMC is Converted to NTFS, of course it will take some time to convert.

2. For your kind information I would like to tell you that none of Symbian S60v1~5 device supports NTFS File System..!
So, don't ever try the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] step..!
