How many full-size pickup trucks and SUVs are bought for ego instead of utility?

Spotless paint jobs and low-profile tires with easily dented rims tend to be a giveaway. So are loud stereos with subwoofers taking up cargo space.

Note how much fuel could be saved, and how much less carbon would be emitted, if people didn't commute in glutton-tanks. They like to say it's "my right" but it's really not in the scheme of things.
