how can i play my blueray?

i have a blueray of The imaginarium of doctor parnassus but it won't play on my blueray player. all i get to watch is the previews
how do i get it to work?

or to the home screen

I know this is a dumb answer, but after the previews theres a menu that is sometimes hard to see and you have to select play.

Only other thing is that the dvd could be the wrong region code for the dvd player and somehow the previews are region free.
