best travel guides or websites?

I wanna go traveling, I want help deciding the best places to go.I want to see weird and wonderful stuff, the kind of stuff u have to travel the world to see.I would like websites, guides, books or just good old fashioned suggestions. thanksBtw-I am travelling from the UK, I have many ideas- Egypt, Australia, USA, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand, Tibet

I had really good luck at tripadvisor.com. They have a lot of good information. I just recently took a trip to Puerto Rico and tripadvisor helped tons!!!
