I am looking up information on if downloading torrents on my computer to use on my ps3 will give either one a virus. I just read this from someone's comments in a yahoo answer's question:
"Torrents are just another way of distributing files. If you get a virus, it's because you opened an infected .exe. Music cannot give you a virus. Films cannot give you a virus. Photos cannot give you a virus"
So is this true? Idk. I have McAfee antivirus and want to know if that will be good enough to be able to tell if a torrent I download will have a virus or not.
Also - if anyone knows how to actually transfer the torrent onto the ps3 that would be helpful - as this is the first time I'm trying to do it.
