Looking at the service manual... Yes the switches are separate parts. As long as silver plastic parts around you air bag are not broken they can be reused. After the bag deploys there are other expensive parts that need to be replaced too. Only Nissan can read and clear Air Bag codes. Using used parts could be a problem. Spiral cable or clock spring connections to the deployed air bag get melted. Passengers side bag Sentra Wiring Harness has an extra plug for the replacement air bag. Never repair or cut Air Bag harness connectors. Repairs should be done correctly according to Nissan Practices. Many times front end or side dammage plus the cost of air bags totals the car. Good Luck
