Did you meet your spouse/significant other online or through a personal ad?

If so, do you tell people the true story of how you met (i.e, that you met online/through an ad)? Do you find it embarrasing to tell people how you really met?

My husband and I did not meet that way but I have a friend who did. They have been married for about 4 years I think and have a child together. They are so happy together. If I did meet my hubby that way though I think I would find it a little embarrassing to tell. My grandmother thought anyone you talk to on the internet are bad. I have met friends through the internet though.

i met my spouse through Newspaper Ad and i tell people how i got married but never felt embarrassed.
