Really want to go play a live game tonight but I’m going to force myself to stay in. Not quite ready to get obsessed again, so instead I’m going to type a little. I’m right on the edge of getting full bore back into playing I think so hopefully in the coming weeks there will be some actual hand discussion on this blog again. It’s been a little absent in my absent time.
One new rule for the return: no drinking at the table. No drunk poker.
At the end there I’d started having a few drinks while playing just out of boredom and the tail end of no cards, not making hands no matter what I saw the flop with. I tend to get drunk pretty fast and would splash around way too much, not helping anything in the way of trying to stay on my game while waiting through the cold spell.
I think my return will include no eat/drink at the table regardless, except for I guess water, but we’ll see how that goes.
