How to learn about high tech gadgets and technology?

I'm really interested in learning about all of this high tech stuff and how it works. Things like the Iphones, new laptops/computers, blue tooth, GPS, music players and whatever else there is like that.

What i'm looking for from whoever decides to help me out is websites that give good info on these products and a good website that will keep me up to date with new things coming out. Also a good messageboard/forum to discuss these things would be nice too.
