hey, I have a question. I'm in the process of hooking my home theater back up again and I was wondering if it is totally necessary to hook my main speaker output from my receiver straight to the subwoofer then to the speakers?
It's a 105 Watt x 6 Receiver. I'm using 5 speakers and my subwoofer and have always hooked my sub and mains up using the inputs and outputs on the amp of the sub. It does use a good bit more wires.
I would also like to know if hooking the main speakers up through the sub has benefits or just being able to control the crossover to the mains.
