You can't upscale 60hz refresh rate to 120hz refresh rate. I'm not sure what you did before but I would say don't do it again before you screw up your TV. If you want 120hz you're going to have to buy a new TV. Look at it like this - You can play Playstation 2 games on a PS3 but there is no way you're going to play PS3 games on a PS2 system. If the hardware required is not present then it is not possible. If you thought you were getting 120hz then it was just a matter of perception.
