First off, I want to say I have nothing against gays, lesbians or bisexuals. =) I'm just wondering if you think there'd be a riot if there was a straight parade. What do you think?
I've said it a million times before- if there was a legitimate straight pride, one that celebrated sexual diversity and heterosexual pride alongside minority sexuality, I'd be cool with it.
Unfortunately, many people who propose "straight pride parades" approach it from a point of homophobia- they say "Oh yeah, you gays think you're so special, and we're supposed to tolerate you, so how would you feel if we had a straight pride parade?". And no, I'm not supportive of that whatsoever.
