Official PS3 Bluetooth Headset WON'T WORK?

Last night I was on Modern Warfare 2 and talking to my friend on the headset. Today I got on and couldn't hear anything. The light was blinking every now and then to show it was on and it turned on and off correctly the only thing is that there is no beep when you push the mute button. On MW2 you can see the little speaker icon next to your username and mine wasn't there. I then went to the XMB menu and went to 'manage wireless devices' or whatever it is. It showed the bluetooth as connected.

Briefly:
- Turns on and off
- Shows up as connected in PS3 menu
- Does NOT show as connected in game
- Mute button does not respond.

NOTE: Nothing happened to the headset overnight. I only shut it off and went to bed.

Any suggestions??

im having the same problem. Mine is connected to the ps3 but MW2 wont recognise it

I am having the same problem. Tried removing head set from Registered Blue tooth devices, and re-registering it to no avail. Happening in MW2 as well.

Damnit I wish I read this before I got mine. I just got it, recognized and connected but it won't work on MW2 this is bullshit! I need to be able to yell at the noobs on my team!

You have to go to settings>accessories>audio settings>

set your input device to wireless headset
