I used an app on my iPhone to download ringtones. I found one that tells me I have a text, but when I go to change the sound for incoming texts, it only presents me with the preset sounds. The file is an .m4r file and I tried watching a tutorial but everything on his computer was different that mine and I got lost quickly.
So... step by step, please tell me what to rename the file to, (most tell me .caf but my computer doesn't even recognize that as a real file so it doesn't even play it) and where to put it in iTunes so that when I sync my phone, I can use the file for my incoming text sound.
I don't want more ringtones, I already know how to make them from my own songs.
I want to know the conversion tricks.
