Will an Unlocked Blackberry Curve 8900 work on the Telus Network in Canada?

I'm thinking about buying a Blackberry Curve 8900 off eBay. I'm wondering if I will be able to hook it up to my current contract with Telus Mobility in New Brunswick, Canada.

If the Blackberry mobile is unlocked properly...it will definitely work with other GSM networks...Just enquire the seller whether the phone is unlocked through a legit unlock provider.Sometimes...the unlock may not be done properly...Recently my friend bought an unlocked Blackberry phone from eBay...but when he upgraded the firmware...it got locked again...this was because the phone had a temporary unlock.But to his luck he very soon found a legit third party unlock, UnBBlock.com who offered the permanent unlock at low cost.
