I believe that another family member may have initiated a run file from an ad, which has installed a virus unto my computer. There are no direct visible effects, but my computer is running considerably slower.
I tried initiating a Norton scan (I have Norton Security Online provided by Rogers Yahoo! Online Protection). I attempted to run a full-system scan. It started loading (the mouse icon changed), then stopped loading. Then, nothing happened. I tried multiple times, and rebooted the computer, but the scan wouldn't start. Please help!!!!
Also, Malware Bytes and other virus protection programs won't open either...
