Do non-smokers smell like cigarettes if they are around smokers a lot?

I have a friend that was recently diagnosed with chronic bronchitis, and he smells like cigarettes. I don't think he smokes, though, so I assumed that his parents are heavy smokers and smoke around him a lot. I am very worried about him.

As the title states, do non-smokers smell like cigarettes if they are around smokers a lot?

yep. second hand smoke can cause the same problems that smoking causes.

Yes, of course. Smoke clings on to everything--hair, clothing, etc. That's why I avoid smokers. You should really ask your friend if his parents smoke around him because smoking around a child who has bronchitis is basically abuse!

Also, secondhand smoke is more dangerous because the smoker has a filter on his/her cigarette that the person inhaling the secondhand smoke does not have. If your friend keeps breathing this cigarette smoke, it could cause very serious health problems and even death.
