Addiction would be good because it is a very broad subject. If you write about freedom of speech, animal abuse, or evolution, you may inintentionally come across as biased.

it gives you more chance to write about all the cruel things that are going on in the world...
also, you can write all about the different kind of abuses to different kinds of animals..e.g. mountain gorillas, pandas and many others.

Addiction defiantly. There are so many ways you could o with this. People can get addicted to almost anything from drugs, alcohol to prescription drugs and apparently (according to a tlc show) even sex. The human race is so interesting there is just so much information and the actions of people.

I think animal abuse is the best choice for your research paper writing. Animal Abuse is the infliction of suffering or harm upon animals, other than humans, for purposes other than self-defense. More narrowly, it can be harm for specific gain, such as killing animals for food or for their fur. Research paper writing is a tough challenge. Research paper assignments give the students a chance to do an in-depth study of a particular topic. Research paper not only proves the students knowledge of the particular subject but also test their commitment to their studies as well as their ability to face difficulties in education.
