Can a custom audio shop hold my car if i have payed for all the items to be put on...

...it? The audio shop are keeping my car: they want more money but i have already payed them the original agreed amount less they did give me a quote.
What i need to know is:
Can they keep my car?
What can a lawyer do ?
How much will he cost ?
How long will it take?

I have payed for all the audio products in the car which amount to more than what they are asking me to pay.

I have asked for a refund as they are unused goods but they refuse.
What can i do?
Hi Jeff I have all the recipts for the items i have payed for but now they ask for more money because the money i have already payed are not enough for the laybour for the car .

If you already paid them what they wanted. ( the original amount ) They can not keep your car. if you still have the receipt call the cops and get your car back. Do not lose that receipt. Good luck

So they are saying you owe them for labour? Did they just give you an estimate for labour, with total to be determined at install time? If so, you might have to pay them more money.
