To Wal-Mart Employees Only: are the rumors about "Employer Appreciation Day" true?
Wal-Mart allegedly has (or had at one time) a policy in its contract that says you MUST come in one day a month on your day off and work a shift WITHOUT PAY because it is "Employer Appreciation Day." WTF!? That is against every labor law on the books! However, I cannot see them thinking that they could actually get away with such nonsense so I have to ask--what's the real story?
