    i have a plan with cingular but i want a sprint phone what should i do?

    i want the sprint rumor but i am on a family plan with cingular is there anything i can do

    you can buy the phone unlocked and that way you can use it with your sim card from cingular. I own a blackjack from at&t and the sim card is from suncom, it is working great, internet connection and everything you just need to change the connections properties for the network you are with. There is a forum I used were you can find this settings and is all about phones. (Howard forums)

    Try looking on eBay for a Sprint phone that has an unlocked GSM (network), meaning that you can use the Sprint software and technology from the phone while still using your Cingular contract and plan.

    Is it just the phone you want? I have Cingular now AT&T and my daughter has Sprint, her bill is 3 times higher than mine for less minutes and IM. Think twice before you which.

    i dont think you should switch.
    sprint has higher bills with less minutes
    and wayyyy better signal!

    don't work that way... let your plan with AT&T run out
    then go buy a sprint. i had sprint i didn't like it
    to many droped calls went to AT&T
