i recently bought i t mobile shadow a couple months ago the phone has worked fine with a few minor things here and there like low battery all the time low signal and slow start up and proccessing but...

How to make the tmobile shadow run faster?
so everyone knows about the shadow and it runs slow a little bit start up and shut down and picture messaging and such

how to lock application such as pictures, texts, etc.. on tmobile shadow?
i want to be able to lock my pictures and text messages from being seen and read because on my noisy brothers all my other phones allowed me to lock them and enter a password when i wished to veiw...
