I would not touch a bike that old. It would in no way be competitive with the bikes that are now being produced and you could have problems getting replacement parts for it.

You really need to state what use you are going to put the bike to. Are you going to race as if so you also need to state how big a 13 year old you are and what experience you have had on a bike. ...

Wiggysan is right....don't waste your money
There is not a lot of options for someone just taking up racing at 16 as to what sort of bike to get. But the best one is something like a crf250r, kx250f or yz250f.
Get a lot of seat time...
If you are mainly doing woods riding then the 125cc 2 stroke isn't really the right bike as they are not really great for that sort of riding. You would be better off with something like a crf250r...
You are a good height and weight for something like a RMZ250 or any of the 4 stroke 250cc mx bikes. You should be fine.

I am not sure if this will work Wiggysan as lets face it Zoro always rode a horse, so motorbikes are a little out of his area of expertise. But then if he wears the Zoro outfit to the track I guess...
Don't really know anything much about mini choppers and can only suggest that you phone a few bike dealerships and ask them. If they don't do the service they may know someone in Sydney who does.

Out of the two you mention the cr125cc would be the better option. The kx's have improved greatly over the last few years but I don't think all that much of the 04 model. But then in saying that if...
I am surprised that you need to ask this question if you are a die hard motocross racer as anyone who describes themselves as such would know everything about the bikes that they may be likely to...
They are made from forged aluminium. If you are having trouble with them breaking you can purchase unbreakable levers that are made from a solid piece of aluminium that won't break. Occasionally...
BIkes like the crf250r are more physical to ride than something like the yz125cc. My son has been racing both the cr125cc and the crf250r this year and the 250cc is definately the more tiring of the...
At 5'6 she should get a couple of years out of something like a crf150f, ttr125, klx125. But I would suggest you take her along to a motorbike shop and get her to sit on a few to see how she feels...
Have a look on craigslist, but really I would be concerned that you would only be buying trouble if you buy an 85cc really cheap. You may find you spend more getting it running properly( or in a...
Perhaps state just where you are as I have an old kx85 in the shed, but I am pretty sure you won't want to travel to Australia for it.
How many is working....total? Some of it doesn't work anymore right?
That would depend upon which crf150 you have. The crf150f is a basic trail bike suitable for a beginner rider and someone your age. The crf150r is the racing version which is much more powerful and...
You have not stated which specific size bike you are looking at so it is hard to say if one is better than the other. The kx250f 2008 model is the better 250f bike, but if you are talking 2 stroke...
YOu may get a better answer if you post this in the motorbike section as a lot more people who are interested in choppers may see the question there.
Good luck anyway
Go to a few of the dealerships nearest to you and ask what the best deal and after sale care that you can get. See if you can bargain and perhaps get the gear thrown in with the purchase of the...
The new plastics would not fit an older model as the shape changes. www.xgxracing.com sell very different graphics to fit most bikes so have a look there.
No you won't forget what you already know.
My youngest son has, had a number of injuries over the last few years that have kept him off the bike. A collarbone break which put him out for 12...
There is a number of different disiplines of racing some of which are SX, MX, enduro, dirttrack, super motard etc. Then you have the freestyle mx which many of the guys who have done one of the other...
