Are people at work who avoid gossip and trouble making perceived as stuck up?

At every place I have worked I've always avoided talking bad about other coworkers bc it does not but breed discontent. I have noticed some people coworkers treat me negatively or think I am stuck up because of this. I have worked part time and am almost at a year at this job and since then have gotten 2 raises and have one more coming up. My bosses like me, but certain co worker try to pry. I am naturally a private person. I go to work and have conversations with coworkers and get along well but they are not on my facebook page etc. They also like to pick on me because my designated work space is empty. A lot of the other girls decorate there's with pics of family or their interests but I prefer to keep mine blank and more organized.

Do people who avoid gossiping at work looked down upon in general by fellow coworkers. Like I said, I am not a drone and have a personality and regularly show it but dont talk bad about others.
