What is the AVC Active icon on my verizon cell phone front screen stand for...

...and how to turn off? I just noticed a new icon pop up on my front screen of my Env3 cell phone. I looked up in the icon glossary located in the phone menu and it said that the symbol that is showing is the AVC Active. Im not sure what it is or how I activated it.
Anyone know what it is and how to deactivate?

Menu, Settings and Tools, Tools, Voice Commands, Settings (Right button), CLR Key Activation, turn to off.
