I have a mix between Labrador and collie but is mostly Labrador. He is 13 almost 14 and used to be very good. I don't mean trained but he was great travelling in cars, never went in the house and he still is like this.
About 6 months ago he got arthritis and for about a month he was very spoilt. He got to sit under the table at dinner and be in the tv room with everyone.
After 1 month and the medicine he is still on we went back to normal, stay outside during dinner and so on. He then darted to whine when alone or outside at dinner and it has gotten progressively worse since then. He now barks after two minutes of being alone and will never stay in his bed. It's not that he needs to relieve himself.
So what is it, just spoilt, maybe medicine, or just old age
I'm not complaining cause I know he is not that bad compared to some dogs but just wondering what the problem is and how to resolve it
